What is „Climate Change“?
Climate change is is a long-term change in the statistical distribution of weather patterns, in the average weather conditions or a change in the distribution of weather events with respect to an average, for example, greater or fewer extreme weather event.
Although it is true, that climate changes have been taking place since the emergence of the earth, it is also a fact most of the time humans were not part of that equation. We humans have been „efficient “, indeed: What took Mother Nature to accomplish millions of years, we humans have accelerated within the shortest period of time.
The human influence is oftentimes referred to „global global warming “and „greenhouse effect “. These terms are much used in an attempt to grasp an complex network of interactions that are based on harmful human intervention into nature.
As such, it is quite bizarre that industrial nations trade emissions that are causing climate change acceleration like share on a stock market – although the Kyoto Protocol as such has always been a respected means of environmental protection.
Only with great hesitations does industry admit adjustments to ecological climatic balance, while the single human being has started on a different thought process.
DIRECT CAUSE
At Global United FC we try to draw attention to the direct and indirect causes of the disastrous effects and threats caused by human intervention:
» Industrial pollution
» Deforestation
» Energy consumtion
» Irresponsible consumption of natural resources
» Waste
» Pollution and contamination of the environment of any kind including
nuclear radiation etc.
Consider this: Mother Nature is a cycle. Our actions lead to uncontrollable chain reactions that cause havoc to the natural ecological balance.
