Global United Football Club e.V. is the first football-non-profit football club of renowned football celebrities worldwide who commit to sustainable, social climate protection and to fighting the increasingly devastating effects of climate change.
Global United FC supports social climate protection projects, i.e. projects by which climate protection is put in context with social inclusion, environmental education and a distinct sustainable value for humans’ every-day life. We stand united for us and our children, for a clean and sound future.
Who we target
We love football. We love our planet - it is the simple message by which we strive to educate, raise awareness, enthusiasm and involvement of soccer fans across the world, the young and the old, across all nations and ethnical backgrounds. Our goal: To get people to realize how important their care for Mother Nature truly is and what can be done to support the climate-balancing factors including biodiversity.
Global United FC e.V. also engages with public, industry, business and research bringing soccer fans closer to the latest achievements in environmentally friendly technology, products and services.
Our program
1. Charity Showcase Matches and crazy Promotions at worldwide locations of high symbolic value to climate protection providing high public visibility while supporting local climate projects.
2. Youth Program with Stars: We initiate and provide support for climate education programs worldwide. By learning through experience, we conduct joint practical actions of youth together with the football stars such as tree-planting ceremonies, environmental clean-up actions, football kick-arounds, school and hospital visits, presentations and youth camp coaching.
3. Public Exchange and Presenting: We host and participate in business and media conferences on climate protection.
4. CLIMATech-Showcase: We provide an informational platform for climate protection projects, technologies and products.
Our charitable engagement
Our charitable programs focus on two areas:
First, we provide preventive, educational programs promoting education for environmentally sound behavior and resource-efficient use of alternatives.
Secondly, our Global United FC e.V. Victims Relief Fund provides immediate financial and in-kind aid to victims of climate disasters worldwide.
