Global United FC welcomes Leonie Pankratz as a new ambassador
Leonie started her career at VFB 1900 Gießen and moved to the top club 1. FFC Frankfurt at the age of 16 and was part of the U17 selection of the DFB.
The next station already showed her openness to other cultures,
in which she moved to UD Levante in 2009. TSG 1899 Hoffenheim was new home for the Defender with stops at Boavista Porto (Cup winner 2013) and at IBV Vestmannaeyjar in Iceland. She led TSG 2020 as the captain to 3rd place in Bundesliga, before moving on to top club HSC Montpellier. Leonie did her bachelor’s degree in translation studies. She completed her master’s degree in management at the FernUni in Hagen in 2018 and has since been an integral part of “Anpfiff ins Leben- Foundation team, which takes care of the development of youth football with various partner clubs in the Rhine-Neckar region. We are pleased that the language artist is now expanding her commitment to the projects at Global United FC and helping us to involve the many girls who are enthusiastic about football.
Leonie: “Football has made a lot possible for me; it allowed me to get to know many people and places, foreign cultures and new languages.
I think it’s important to think outside the box and to recognize that not everyone has such a privileged life. Therefore, I would like to give something back and I am happy to act as an ambassador for Global United FC. ”
