Annual General Meeting 2021 under the sign of the pandemic
Our annual general meeting took place this year in Hoffenheim and after the meeting we had the opportunity to watch the Champions League match of the TSG 1899 women against last season’s CL winners FC Barcelona. There were intensive discussions on the role of our committees and ambassadors and some homework on how to organise more events of our own. We are working on some surprises and hope to move forward again in 2022. After the discussion about the reports, where we are doing very well in our current and new projects, there were also elections. Lutz Pfannenstiel remains on the board.
On the Supervisory Board we welcome the former German Ambassador for South Africa, Lesotho and Eswatini Dr. Martin Schäfer, who moved from Pretoria to Paris a few months ago as Envoy of the German Embassy. There were also new additions to the voting members. René Richter, the owner of an event and incentive company and an expert on South Africa, has joined. Bernhard Slawinski was the chairman of the Munich district of the Bavarian Football Association for many years.we are looking forward to working together and hope to move forward with as few restrictions as possible in 2022.
